Located at 220 North Maple Street, this facility provides opportunities for after school, fitness and leisure programs for all citizens. The vision of several local civic clubs after World War II, the facility opened on October 14,1949 as a memorial to WWI and WWII veterans.
The War Memorial Center offers a variety of programs and activities for all ages. Among our most popular programs are our after school program, traditional summer camps, activities for youth, adults and senior citizens, fitness and self defense classes and much more! The War Memorial Center is comprised of the main building, gym, pool house and outdoor pool, three lighted tennis courts and the adjacent Liberty Park and sits on more than 15 acres. For details click the “Facility Information” tab above.
