Located at 221 South Sherrill Street, this facility provides opportunities for after school, fitness and leisure programs for all citizens. The facility was dedicated in 1965 and served as the offices for the Mooresville Housing Authority. Winnie L. Hooper had a heart for her community and began offering programs at Dunbar School. She later moved her programs to the current facility.

Winnie L Hooper Center offers a variety of programs and activities for all ages.
