Located at 781 Agape Drive, this facility provides opportunities for after school, fitness and leisure programs for all citizens. The center is named for Mooresville native, Selma Burke.
The Selma Burke Community Center offers a variety of programs and activities for all ages. Among our most popular programs are our after school program, traditional summer camp, activities for youth, adults and senior citizens, fitness classes and much more! Selma Burke was born in Mooresville in 1900 and is known as the sculptor of the portrait of Franklin D Roosevelt that may have served as the inspiration for the design of the Roosevelt dime.
