Fire Bureau

The Mooresville Fire Department, Fire Prevention Bureau, provides a variety of progressive fire prevention services to fulfill the overall mission of the fire department.

The goal of the Mooresville Fire Prevention Bureau is to prevent and minimize the impact of fires on the citizens of Mooresville through code enforcement, investigations of fires and educational programs.

The success of the Fire Prevention Bureau is measured on a yearly basis for the following criteria:

100% of fire code inspections conducted within state-mandated frequencies.
Clear 35% of all arson cases investigated.
Educate 10,000 people about fire and life safety.
