Fire Stations
The Mooresville Fire & Rescue has four fire stations to serve the community:

| Station 1 serves as the headquarters for Mooresville Fire & Rescue. It was orginally located downtown on Broad Street. In 1953 the station was relocated to Main Street behind Town Hall. To meet the demands of a growing town, the station was again moved in 1993 to its current location beside Town Hall. Station 1 serves the Downtown District, as well as the historic Mill Village and Cascade communities. It is staffed by one engine company and a Battalion Chief. It also houses our administrative offices, including the Fire Marshal's office. | |

| Station 2 serves the residential districts of Morrison Plantation and Brawley School Road, as well as Rolling Hills Race Park and the shopping centers along River Highway. It also covers Interstate 77 between the 31 and 36 mile markers. Station 2 is staffed by an engine company and a truck company. These companies respond to all rescue and extrication calls in the town. Personnel stationed here are highly trained in all areas of specialized technical rescue and are equipped to respond to a variety of high-angle, confined space, swift water, and structural collapse emergencies. The station also houses two special operations trailers for water rescue and urban search and rescue (USAR). | |

| Station 3 serves the Curtis Pond Community, as well as Lake Norman Regional Medical Center and the campus of Lowe's Corporate. It is staffed by one engine company. All personnel stationed here are state-certified Hazardous Materials Technicians. Mooresville Fire & Rescue operates Iredell County's only Hazardous Materials Team out of this station and is on-call to respond to a variety of chemical, biological, and nuclear incidents. | |

| Station 4 was opened as a mutual agreement between the Town of Mooresville and Shepards Volunteer Fire Department. It houses one engine company from Mooresville Fire & Rescue which covers several residential areas north of town, as well as Mooresville's Industrial district along Mazeppa Road. It also covers the Talbert Pointe Business Park, home of the NASCAR Technical Institute and many of Mooresville's professional racing teams. | |
