Meeting Rooms
One of the many services offered by the Mooresville Public Library are two state of the art meeting rooms. The Selma Burke Community Room, located on the main floor of the library, offers a quaint charm and historic beauty of the original library building (now the Williams Wing). Located in the original children's room, this room offers meeting space for up to 35 people in a classroom or boardroom setting and up to 77 people in a lecture hall setting. The room is equipped with wireless web connection, white boards, projection screen, microphones, DVD and video capability as well as laptop connectivity for powerpoint and other presentations. The adjacent kitchenette in the Williams Wing allows for light refreshments and finger foods to be easily served. Small groups and others can be easily accommodated for those quick meetings or discussion groups such as book clubs, society meetings, etc. For larger groups the Library offers the Youth Services Community Room.


Located in the newly designed Children's Library on the lower level, The Youth Services Room offers space for larger and more high tech groups. Comfortably seating 86 in classroom or boardroom style and 184 in lecture hall seating in the room is perfect for large groups. The Youth Services room offers laptop connection for powerpoint and other programs and wireless web or hard wire interent connection and includes cable TV and XM Radio of which both can be used through the lectern and screens, two plasma side screens in addition to the large drop down screen. In addition there are stages for presentations or ceremonies, MP3 connection for presentations, as well as DVD and video capabilities. Whatever the needs of the group the Library has two rooms that can easily and comfortably meet your needs while you visit beautiful Downtown Mooresville.
