The Town of Mooresville’s Planning & Zoning Department provides assistance and direction to citizens, property owners and elected/appointed officials regarding the development and use of land. The department works to guide efficient growth and development, administer development regulations and plan for transportation improvements within the town’s planning jurisdiction. The creation of long-range plans and policies serve as tools for shaping Mooresville‘s growth.
The Planning & Zoning Department staff can assist with issues such as sign regulations, code enforcement and nuisances, building additions, land subdivision, zoning applications and rezoning property for new development.
