The Public Utilities Division provides operations and maintenance of more than 200 miles of wastewater and water lines serving over 12,000 customers. This division includes Water & Sewer Maintenance, the Rocky River Wastewater Treatment Plant, and the Town's Water Treatment Plants.

Annual Water Quality Report Available
The 2009 Drinking Water Quality Report (Consumer Confidence Report) for the Town of Mooresville is available online. This state-mandated report is a snapshot of last year’s water quality. If you have questions about this report or the quality of your drinking water, call the Town’s Water Treatment Plant at 704-664-4268.

Rain Barrels for Sale
In an on-going effort to help conserve water, the Town has rain barrels for sale. Rain barrels collect runoff from rooftops for irrigation and provide a way to sustain landscaping during times of drought and water restrictions. Sale prices are $90 for a 60 gallon rain barrel and $100 for a 80 gallon rain barrel.
